Jim Krupa is a Certified Orthotist with over 28 years of experience. He received his Bachelors of Science and Master’s degrees from Norwich University and earned his American Board for Certification (ABC) in orthotics after attending Northwestern University’s Florence Robertson Medical School.
He has specialized training and expertise in the areas of Adult Neurology including ALS and CMT. Jim also has specialized expertise with Pediatric and Adolescence populations including Spinal Scoliosis Management, Cranial Remolding, Muscular Dystrophies and Neurological Disorders. He participates in several local multi-disciplinary Adult and Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinics.
Jim is member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP) and sits on the Executive Board for the New England Chapter (NEAAOP). He is currently the Immediate Past President for the Chapter. Jim has also served on the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association’s (AOPA) National Assembly Planning Programming Committee for several of their National meetings.
Jim enjoys the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics and finds it extremely satisfying and rewarding. Having the opportunity to educate and work with patients and families – providing them with the best possible care with compassion, dedication, and thoughtfulness achieving successful outcomes that positively impacts their lives in so many ways is truly empowering.
